Ainsley has supervised the production of numerous foreign films shot in Sri Lanka. which include: Mother Teresa, Water, The Iron Triangle, Indochina, Shadow of The Cobra, and Bombay Velvet, and TV series such as: The Good Karma Hospital (UK), AI Boom (UAE) Seasons 1 & 2. He handled the part shoots of Rohit Shetty Productions, Singham 3 and Yash Raj Productions, Mardhani 3.
He has won praise from film and TV producers in Australia, Europe, and India for his exceptional ability to deliver productions on schedule and within allocated budgets, based on his decade-long experience covering every aspect of film and TV production.
He was responsible for the production of ව්යාපාරික A-Z, a 44-episode weekly TV series sponsored by Bank of Ceylon to teach entrepreneurs how to start and run a business, which won the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce CSR Award for Education and training

Based in Toronto-Ontario, I am a cinematographer and a Steadicam operator. I have worked in numerous shorts, features, documentaries, TV commercials and music videos around the globe. In 2008, I graduated from the Korean Academy of Film Arts in cinematography. The short film, I too have a name (2012) was nominated for the Golden Bear at the Berlinale International Film Festival. There is no poetry here (short/2013) was chosen for the competition at Busan IFF and was screened at Cannes Short Film Corner. The feature films; Burning birds (2016) and House of my fathers were both screened in many reputed international film festivals such as Busan, Rotterdam and Locarno. The most recent feature film Ayu (2019) won the best cinematography award at the Around International Film Festival. The Protector directed by Lenin M Sivam, is the 1st hollywood long length film I shot as the director of photography, is now scheduled to premiere in Montreal Quebec Canada- Official Selection Fantasia 2022.

With almost two decades experience as a First AD in films and TV, Prasad has over 25 years' experience in the media industry. He has worked in feature films by Academy Award-nominated filmmakers Deepa Mehta (Midnight's Children) and Uberto Pasolini (Machan) among others, and in over 200 TV commercials to date. He also works as a script writer, casting director and line producer.
